Minus Marist Catholic, the rest of the District 4 prep track teams gathered in Florence Friday for a Showcase meet won by the Siuslaw boys (194.5) over Marshfield (160) and the Lady Pirates (170) over Junction City (147.5).  Marshfield showed its speed on the track with Sheila Rojas winning both the 100 (13.89) & the 200 (28.95).  She also ran a leg on the winning 400R team (55.03) along with Sydney Trendell, Raegan Rhodes & Charlie Dea.  The senior Rhodes also won the Pole Vault (8-04) and the Long Jump (14-04).  Mira Matthews won the Javelin (102-03).  The boys swept the top three spots in the Pole Vault with sophomore Trent Summers leading the way at 14-04.  He was followed by freshman Jonathon Parks (13-06) and sophomore Jack Waddington (13-00).  Parks also won the 200 (23.86) and teamed with Aaron Hutchins, Cael Church & Sam Grayson to win the 400R (45.98).  The next meet for Marshfield is at North Bend along with Coquille on Tuesday.
