North Bend’s girls swept the running events at a five-way prep track meet Saturday on Frank Shriver Track at Vic Adams Field, North Bend. The Bulldogs girls and boys also won the team races with Coquille second. Sophomore Celeste Le was a double-winner in the 100 (13.58) & 200 (28.21). She also teamed with Lennon Riddle, Randee Cunningham & Lupita Trujillo to win the 400R (54.81). Riddle also won the Pole Vault (9-0) & Long Jump (14-11.5). Sophomore Sara Slade won both the 1500 (5:20.36) & 3000 (11:48.53). For the Bulldog boys, freshman Jason Padget won the 100 (11.71) & 200 (24.32). Senior Eli Bogatin won the 110HH (17.71) & 300IH (46.46). Junior Roman Fritz won the Shot Put (41-0) & the Javelin (168-11). North Bend hosts Marshfield & Coquille Tuesday, May 4, first event begins at 4 p.m.
