A 31-year old male is deceased and a 32-year old female has been arrested on a charge of Murder in the Second Degree following a shooting at an RV Park in Charleston early Tuesday morning, Feb. 13. According to a news release from Coos Co. District Attorney R. Paul Frasier, Ian Cowan was found “deceased from an apparent gunshot wound.” Alyssia R. Nelson “has been lodged at the Coos County Jail. It is believed that Mr. Cowan and Ms. Nelson were living together at the RV Park.” The Coos County Major Crime Team was activated to assist in the investigation. Nelson is scheduled to appear in court Wednesday, Feb. 14th, 8:15 a.m.
