The third time was the charm for North Bend football coach Gary Prince. His Bulldogs won the 2016 OSAA 4A State Championship Saturday 35-21 over Cottage Grove at Hillsboro Stadium. It’s the school’s first football title. But, it was also the third time in five years that North Bend played for the state championship. They were runners-up in both 2012 & 2014. The Bulldogs (11-0) finish the season with an unbeaten record.
