Southwestern Oregon dropped its opening men’s basketball game 90-84 to Spokane at the Red Devil Classic in Longview, WA Friday. On Saturday, the Lakers downed Olympic 99-65. SWOCC was scheduled to play Centralia in the consolation final Sunday. The men next play in the Monterey Bay Classic at Monterey, CA, Friday, Dec. 2, against the College of the Redwoods. Southwestern’s women won their opener Friday at the Clackamas Thanksgiving Invitational in Oregon City 86-66 over Green River. On Saturday the Lakers fell 85-62 to host Clackamas 85-62. Southwestern hosts George Fox JV on Sunday, Dec. 4, 2 p.m.
