North Bend lost its 5A SD2 North league opener at Thurston 47-14 in east Springfield Friday night. The Bulldogs (0-1 3-1) host Springfield Friday at Vic Adams Field in North Bend. The Millers (0-1, 2-2) lost at Willamette Friday, 60-27.
