According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Monday, Nov. 14, 10:50 a.m., Sherman & Washington avenues, “dispute in vehicle, passenger hitting driver, 1996 Olds Cutlass (burgundy), passenger hit driver and his hat flew out window. Officers responded/checked area, unable to locate vehicle or hat.” Teletype was sent countywide.
