According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Monday, Nov. 21, 1:36 a.m., 3201 Tremont Ave., “Mill Security reported intoxicated driver, last seen headed northbound from the Mill Casino, officer located the vehicle/traffic stop Virginia & Monroe,” 47-year old Ralph Elton Blankenship, Eagle Point, cited for DUII (BAC 1.0%) and Reckless Driving.  “Subject released in lieu of custody.”

Various entries on the North Bend Police log for Sunday, Nov. 20, involving “people.”  At 12:47 p.m., 1400 block Sherman Ave., “911, family dispute, officers responded/female did not want to pursue charges.  Male advised he will stay with a friend tonight.  Female given information on restraining orders.  At 7:17 p.m., Broadway & Newmark, “RP reported male subject threatening to shoot her while driving westbound on Newmark St., no firearm visible.  Suspect vehicle: 2007 blue Honda Civic 4D.  Officer respond and attempt to locate suspect / unable to locate, gone prior to arrival.  Officer safety info sent countwide.”  At 7:42 pm., 900 block O’Connell St., “RP reported female stated earlier today that she’d been beaten for 2 days by her daughter.  Officers respond and checked welfare of female in question / advised everyone is fine.”  At 8:17 p.m., 835 California Ave., “RP request to speak with officer after picking up homeless female in pouring rain at McDonalds.  Officer contacted the RP/she will attempt contact at the Mission since female subject has already been staying there.”
