VRO/Burglary
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Saturday, Nov. 26, 2:08 p.m., 2500 block Broadway Ave., “RP reported his son he has a restraining order against was found in his house stealing items from the safe.  Officer respond / report taken.  RP then reported subject returned.  Officer respond and located suspect,” 26-year old Matthew Thomas Garner, North Bend, charged with Burglary I, Theft I and two-counts of VRO.  Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

Heroin
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Friday, Nov. 25, 10:27 p.m., Ash & 14th, “traffic stop,” 44-year old Ryan Laub, and 38-year old Katie Wathen identified as operator & passenger, “subjects will be referred to DA for PCS Schedule I Heroin and were advised to check in with PO on Monday.  Window breaker seized by officer.”

Animals
Entries on the North Bend Police log for Saturday, Nov. 26, 3:10 p.m., Broadway & 12th St., “RP reported a dog that keeps walking into traffic on Broadway Ave.  Officer located the dog in area / attempted to have local vets treat the dog / unable to located any without a fee, Ocean Vet already treating emergency case.  Officer transported the animal to Animal Shelter / male Golden Retriever mix, injured hip or left rear leg, no collar or tags.   At 3:13 p.m., Pacific & Crowell, injured segull in parking lot, wing and leg injuries.  Officer responded/animal dispatched.”

Burglary
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Sunday, Nov. 27, 2:54 p.m., 1600 block Ohio St., “RP reported someone was in his home today while away.  Officer respond / report taken Theft I & Burglary I.
