The City of Coos Bay has contracted to have a median on Newmark Avenue from LaClair Street to the main Walmart entrance refinished with new striping. Work is scheduled to commence on Tuesday, October 20th at 6:00 a.m. Newmark Avenue will remain open for traffic with flaggers onsite directing traffic. Please proceed with caution in the construction zone and watch for flaggers. Wet paint can be expected throughout the Newmark Avenue corridor as shown in the below map.
