The yellow police tape was visible to motorists passing the westside of the 1500 block of Sherman Ave. (Hwy. 101) Thursday, April 3. The old two-story home in the center has been vacant for a number of years, but now it is active as part of a police investigation into the discovery of a male’s body behind the building. North Bend Police spokesperson John Bohanan says there are no indications of foul play, and added that the individual could have died of natural causes. An individual walking his dog Thursday morning noticed a person lying on the ground. That same person was in the same position when he returned, prompting his call to the police.
