Shoplifters
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Wednesday, Feb. 26, 4:21 p.m., 1611 Virginia Ave., “RP reports 2 females just fled JC Penney’s store with more than $1,000 in clothing and merchandise and got into a black Honda or Hyundai coupe. The vehicle was last headed eastbound on Virginia Avenue and there was reportedly one other subject in the vehicle (unknown if male or female). Officer responded to take theft report.” Teletype sent countywide.
Warrant
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Wednesday, Feb. 26, 5:38 p.m., Grant St. & Virginia Ave., “RP advised 2 suspicious subjects walking around the area with trash bags, digging through trash cans and recycle bins. Officer locates subjects on Hayes St.” Forty-two year old Scott M. Bonasera, Coos Bay arrested on two NBPD warrants charging Failure to Appear on PCS Meth and Failure to Appear I. Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille. “Both subjects warned to not take pop cans out of the trash without permission from Les Sanitation.”
