According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Monday, Aug. 8, 11:59 a.m., “Clackamas Co. Jail served NBPD valid warrant,” on 43-year old Jon Paul Corby, Coos Bay, charging Probation Violation on original charges of Aggravated ID Theft, six-counts of Theft II, and Theft I.

According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Monday, Aug. 8, 12:23 p.m., Virginia & Roosevelt, “traffic stop Yellow Cab Taxi,” 33-year old Steven Miles Robeson, Coos Bay, arrested on two CBPD warrants charging Probation Violation and one CCSO warrant charging Probation Violation.
Theft
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Monday, Aug. 8, 3:07 p.m., 1735 Virginia Ave., Safeway, “RP request officer respond to location after her purse was stolen. Officer respond / report taken Theft I. CBPD located suspects at Wallace & Newmark in Coos Bay.” Forty-three year old Ryan Christopher Laub, Bandon, and 37-year old Katie Marie Wathen, Bandon, both charged with Theft I. “CBPD assisted with transported to CCJ. Subjects permanently trespassed from PV Mall property and Safeway.”

According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Monday, Aug. 8, 4:25 p.m., 3201 Tremont Ave., Mill Casino, “wanted subject on casino floor,” 52-year old Denise Beckner, North Bend, arrested on CBPD warrant charging Unlawful Possession of Meth and Theft II. Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

Officer respond and located the subject,” 52-year old Lisa Kay Wilcox, Coos Bay, arrested on warrant charging Criminal Trespass I & Criminal Mischief II. Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.
Injured Seagull
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Monday, Aug. 8, 9:51 p.m., 1800 block McPherson Ave., “RP reported he chased away a couple of kids that were beating up a seagull at location. RP advised he got the seagull up on sidewalk but it possibly has a broken wing. Officer contacted RP, RP going to box it up and take it to vet in the morning.”

Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille. Thirty-seven year old Misty Chambers and 60-year old Louis Perez both warned for Criminal Trespass.

Bayshore Dr., “officer out with subject at location,” 31-year old Cassie Littles, Coos Bay, arrested on CCSO warrants charging Failure to Appear on PCS Meth, and Failure to Appear in the First Degree. Additionally charged with Probation Violation and PCS Meth. Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.
