According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Tuesday, August 2, 9:43 a.m., 2000 block Lincoln St., “RP reported a male child yelling for help from a window, saying he’s locked in his room with no one home. Officers respond / confirmed the child is locked in his room, but is not unattended, he is there due to ongoing problem of running away.” Seven year old male child involved.

According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Tuesday, August 2, 3:49 p.m., 13th & Oak, “officer located P&P detainable subject,” 51-year old Alan Vernon Heyer, Coos Bay, charged with Probation Violation, “subject transported to P&P and custody transferred to PO.”
Trespassing
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Wednesday, August 3, 2016, 12:05 a.m., 3201 Tremont Ave., “Mill Security request officer for subject that is trespassing,” 50-year old Stephanie Olson Rowlands, Eugene, arrested on UO PD warrant charging Failure to Appear on PCS Meth and cited for Criminal Trespass II. Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.
