According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Friday, May 16, 11:06 a.m., 2000 block Meade St., “report of strangulation in front of a child on 041014 (just now reporting it).  Twenty-one year old Scott Hedberg arrested on charges of Strangulation Felony and Assault IV Domestic Felony.  Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

Stolen Gun Recovered
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Friday, May 16, 2:14 p.m., 1611 Virginia Ave., Big 5 Sporting Good.  Twenty-four year old Weston Leverich arrested on Probation Violation charge out of Multnomah Co. and Theft III.  “Permanently trespassed from Big 5.  Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.  Stolen gun located in the vehicle.”

Warrant
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Friday, May 16, 5:48 p.m., 2000 block Ohio St., “attempt warrant service,” 35-year old Travis Eric Sapp arrested on NBPD warrant charging Failure to Appear on Theft II charge, Probation Violation and Escape III.  Twenty-two year old Crystal L. Parker, Coos Bay, arrested on Probation Violation charge and PCS Meth.  Both transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Friday, May 16, 11:56 p.m., 2300 block Broadway Ave., “warrant service,” 74-year old Charles A. DeRoss, North Bend, arrested on NBPD warrant charging Criminal Trespass II.  Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

Probation Violation
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Saturday, May 17, 12:18 a.m., 1800 block Thomas St., 32-year old Beau T. Stemen, North Bend, arrested on Probation Violation charge and transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.  Driver cited for DWS-Violation, Driving Uninsured and Failure to File SR-22.  Also warned for Unsignaled Right Turn and Open Container.

Warrant
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Saturday, May 17, 8:03 a.m., 2000 block Monroe Ave., “officer located wanted subject walking on Monroe in North Bend.”  Thirty-two year old Christopher Maine Westgaard, Coos Bay, arrested on Oregon State Parole Board warrant charging Probation Violation on original charge of Crimes Against Person.  Additional charges include two-counts of Escape III, Resisting Arrest, Disorderly Conduct II, Probation Violation and PCS Schedule I.  “NB Medical respond for the subject after Tazer was deployed.”  Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Saturday, May 17, 9:18 a.m., 1300 block Ford Lane, “RP reported his vehicle entered sometime overnight and the vehicle console ripped out, XM Radio missing.”

Assault
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Saturday, May 17, 1:21 p.m., Pacific & Crowell, “officer attempted to contact male subject hiding in brush on Brussells St., subject then fled towards the PV Mall.  Officer apprehended the subject at Pacific St./Crowell Ave.”  Forty-two year old Shawn Lee Rogers, Coos Bay, charged with Assault IV and Interfering.  Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

Warrant
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Saturday, May 17, 1:26 p.m., 2000 block Broadway Ave., “Rite Aid reported possible wanted subject in the store.  Officers respond and contacted the subject.”  Fifty-seven year old John D. Patrick, Coos Bay, served Hamilton Co., Ohio warrant charging two-counts of Rape and Gross Sexual Imposition.  Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

Assault
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Saturday, May 17, 3:29 p.m., 2000 block Harrison Ave., “RP request officers check welfare of female subject at location after she received a message that her mother in law was assaulted.  Victim then called after leaving location to report being assaulted, declined medical.  Officer respond and contacted the victim, report taken, officers respond and contacted the subject at location.”  Twenty-six year old Steven Michael White, North Bend, served Topeka Corrections warrant charging Probation Violation on an original charge of Forgery, Theft and Burglary.  Additional charges include two-counts of Assault IV Domestic Menacing and Strangulation.  Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

Warrant
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Sunday, May 18, 4:27 a.m., CBPD served NBPD warrant on 49-year old Lucila Reyes-Jarmain, Lakeside, charging Probation Violation.  Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.  Entry on the CBPD log for 3:52 a.m., 100 block B St., “possible prowler.”  Reyes-Jarmain taken into custody.
