Cougar?
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Wednesday, May 28, 1:29 a.m., Newmark & Broadway, “RP advised he observed a cougar in the marsh behind Jergens and Coca Cola. Officer responded/checked area unable to locate.” Also, on the NBPD log for 8:19 p.m., Cessna Circle, “possible cougar sighting. Officers checked the area unable to locate.”
Assault
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Wednesday, May 28, 1:18 p.m., 1100 block Virginia Ave., “assault occurred at location.” Forty-six year old Darlene D. Huntley, North Bend, charged with Assault IV Domestic and transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.
