According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Thursday, Oct. 9, 9:32 p.m., 1735 Virginia Ave., Safeway, “theft of beer at location. Juvenile taken into protective custody. Charged Robbery, Theft III, Resisting, Assault on Police Officer and Criminal Mischief. Transported to Juvenile Dept. Juvenile trespassed from all Mall property.” At 10:55 p.m., 1988 Virginia Ave., 7-11, “possible theft of beer. Under investigation.”
