News release from the South Coast Interagency Narcotics Team. On 10/8/14 Detectives from SCINT, Coos County SO and Parole and Probation contacted 1820 12th Street, North Bend the home of Morgan Woodmark, Rodney Yeiter and 3 young children, 1 yoa female, 6 yoa and 5 yoa boy. Officers were attempting to locate and arrest Yeiter on outstanding warrants. During that contact Woodmark was arrested and 2 children were placed into protective Custody by DHS. While waiting for the application of a search warrant, Yeiter was observed trying to sneak up to the residence. A short foot pursuit ensued and Yeiter was taken into custody a few houses away by Coos County Deputy and Parole and Probation Officer. At approximately 1640 hrs, Detectives from SCINT, Officers from North Bend PD, Coquille Tribal PD, Coos County Sheriff’s Office and Parole and Probation executed a search warrant at the location. During the search detectives located items to include but not limited to the following: 12 gauge sawed off Shotgun, Packaged Heroin for sale, Packaged Marijuana for sale, Methamphetamine paraphernalia to include baggies, glass pipes and spoons with residue, Heroin Paraphernalia to include packaging, spoons, straws and foil with residue, Multiple uncapped syringes with blood and illegal controlled substances, Various caliber ammunition, Over $400 in US Currency, Digital Scales with Heroin residue, Loose marijuana, Packaging material, Marijuana pipes, Counterfeit US money, 5 Marijuana plants, Prohibited Fireworks, Unknown manufactured marijuana product and domicile to Yeiter and Woodmark at this address. Both were arrested and transported to the Coos County Jail. Three children were taken into protective custody and placed into foster care.
