According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Wednesday, Sept. 7, 5:02 p.m., 3400 block Broadway, “NBPD served CBPD warrant” on 39-year old Anna L. Gray, Coos Bay, charging Criminal Trespass II. Transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.
Robbery
According to an entry on the North Bend Police log for Thursday, Sept. 8, 4:11 a.m., 1585 Sherman Ave., Ashworth’s Market, “Robbery.” News release from NBPD. “On Thursday, September 8, 2016, at 4:11 a.m., a clerk at Ashworth’s Market at 1585 Sherman Avenue in North Bend reported that a lone male of small stature, dressed in dark clothing and covering his face to conceal his identity, entered the market, brandished a firearm, and demanded the clerk surrender cash. He made off with several hundred dollars. The suspect reportedly fled north, then west between residences toward Union Avenue. Officers from North Bend, Coos Bay, and Oregon State Police worked together to set up a containment perimeter. A Coos Bay K-9 unit initiated a track without success in locating the subject.
