Families and friends are invited to come join the FREE festivities at the North Bend Community Center at 5:45 p.m. on Thursday, December 12, 2013. Santa will be arriving at 6:00 p.m., just in time to help Mayor Rick Wetherell light the Christmas Tree
Santa will be handing out candy canes and tickets (for the bike drawings) to all of the boys and girls following the tree lighting.
Did you notice Santa Claus has a new helper this year? Be sure to welcome Miss Claus!
The City of North Bend will be giving away bicycles again this year, thanks to the generosity of North Bend Sanitation! Children up to the age of 12 will be eligible to win. One girl and one boy will be selected to win after Santa has heard all of the Christmas wishes. The children must be present to win.
The Boys & Girls Club will arrange for craft projects from 6:00 – 7:00 p.m.
The Portland Bagel Company will provide bagel samplings!!! The North Bend Downtown Association will also provide beverages. The City of North Bend will provide cookies and coffee and the July Jubilee Princesses will proudly serve our community.
K-Dock Radio will be onsite with music for Santa’s entrance and entertainment for the event.
North Bend Fire Department will provide antique fire truck rides around the neighborhood.
