NW Natural going Paperless, March 2

NW Natural (NYSE:NWN) customers will have the chance to help seven Boys & Girls Clubs across Oregon and SW Washington by enrolling in paperless billing. Boys & Girls Clubs’ mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need it most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring and responsible citizens. NW Natural’s Corporate Philanthropy Fund will donate $5 for every customer who enrolls in paperless billing between March 1 and April 30, 2017 to Clubs in Albany, Corvallis, Emerald Valley (Eugene), Portland, Salem, SW Oregon (Coos Bay) and SW Washington. “We’re excited to partner with Boys & Girls Clubs in our area. We know our customers enjoy helping a worthy cause, especially when it involves kids from the local community, and also has the added environmental benefit of saving paper,” said Von Summers, NW Natural community affairs manager. “Our collective goal is to raise $15,000 to provide a safe place for kids to go after school and during summer breaks.” Here are three easy steps for participating in NW Natural paperless billing: 1. Sign in to your NW Natural online profile at nwnatural.com. If you don’t have a profile, registration is quick and easy. 2. Choose “Go Paperless,” then enroll. 3. Start receiving your gas bill online each month. Save some paper while helping kids. By enrolling in paperless billing, NW Natural customers have instant, easy access to up to three years of energy-use and bill history, 24 hours a day — from a computer, mobile phone, tablet or any other device connected to the Internet. Choosing paperless billing will contribute to helping Boys & Girls Clubs create paths to academic success and healthy lifestyles, and in building good character and leadership skills for young people. The Clubs also provide an excellent volunteer opportunity for adults who want to inspire young people to reach their full potential.
