Some of Oregon’s dams are in poor condition according to a recent report by the Associated Press. The state has 18 dams rated poor and four rated unsatisfactory. The four include two on the Coast and one in Coos County. The Ferry Creek Reservoir dam above Bandon is rated unsatisfactory as is Big Creek No. 1 Reservoir dam at Newport.
