Freshman catcher Jack Kruger’s first collegiate home run highlighted a six-run fifth inning and made a winner of relief pitcher Cooper Stiles for the first time in his career, as the Oregon baseball team completed a midweek sweep of Gonzaga with a 14-5 victory on Wednesday.  The game was called after eight innings due to the Ducks’ travel schedule. No. 19 Oregon (21-8) next plays at No. 14 Washington in a three-game series beginning Friday.
