Warrant arrest
A dark blue Ford Ranger, stopped for speeding near the McCullough Bridge construction zone Jan. 23, 12:53 p.m., resulted in an arrest. According to an Oregon State Police report, a standard records check of 46-year old Linda Marie Spears, Lakeside, driving status revealed she was wanted on a Bench Warrant for Failing To Appear on an original charge of Forgery. She was arrested and transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.

Probation Violation
A vehicle stopped in the Bunker Hill District of Coos Bay, Jan. 24, 7:29 p.m., for expired license plates, led to an arrest. According to an OSP report, 24-year old Lauren Marie Harsh, North Bend, was found to be a Correction’s Client with a “no association with drug users stipulation.” Her Probation Officer was contacted and authorized a Detainer. Harsh was placed in custody for Probation Violation, cited for Failure to Carry and Present a Driver’s License, Failure to Carry Proof of Insurance and transported to the Coos Co. Jail at Coquille.
