OSU release – CORVALLIS, Ore. – The No. 1 seed Oregon State men’s soccer team opened NCAA Tournament play with a 2-0 victory over St. John’s (NY), at Lorenz Field on Sunday. The Beavers improve to 13-2-3 (7-1-2 Pac-12) and will advance to the Third Round for the first time in program history. The Beavers will clash with No. 16 seed New Hampshire in the Third Round of the NCAA Tournament. Tickets are now available for the match, which will be held at Lorenz Field in Corvallis, Ore. on Sunday, Nov. 28 at 6 p.m.

Oregon’s football team got derailed Saturday 38-7 at Utah in a Pac-12 contest. The Ducks (6-2, 9-2) host Oregon State Saturday, Nov. 27, 12:30 p.m., Autzen Stadium, Eugene, on ESPN. Oregon State beat visiting Arizona Stte 24-10, Reser Stadium, Corvallis Saturday night. The Beavers (5-3, 7-4) head to Eugene Saturday for the regular season finale.

Oregon’s volleyball team lost at Washington Sunday, 3-0 in a Pac-12 match at Seattle, WA. The Ducks (11-7, 20-8) are scheduled to host Arizona Tuesday, 6 p.m., Pac-12 Insider. Oregon State lost both matches to Washington Friday, and Washington State Sunday by the same 3-0 score. The Beavers (2-16, 4-24) are scheduled to host Arizona State Wednesday, noon, Pac-12 Networks.

Oregon’s basketball team plays in the Maui Invitational at Las Vegas, NV Monday, Nov. 22, 6 p.m., against Chaminade on ESPNU. Oregon State lost to visiting Princeton 81-80 at Gill Coliseum, Corvallis, Sunday. The Beavers (1-4) are scheduled to play Wake Forest at Niceville, FL on Friday, Nov. 26, 6:30 pm., CBS Sports Network.

At the Battle 4 Atlantis women’s college basketball tournament at Paradise Island in the Bahamas, Oregon beat Oklahoma Saturday 98-93, but lost to No. 1 South Carolina Sunday 80-63. The Ducks (3-1) are scheduled to play South Florida on Monday, 11:30 a.m., ESPNU. Oregon State beat visiting CSU Bakersfield Saturday 82-51 at Gill Coliseum, Corvallis. The Beavers (3-0) are scheduled to play Michigan Friday, Nov. 26, 4 p.m., Daytona, FL.

Northern Arizona captured the NCAA men’s cross-country championship Saturday at Tallahassee, FL. Connor Mantz, a junior for BYU, was the individual champion on the 10K course in 28:33.1. Stanford was the highest finishing Pac-12 team in fifth. Colorado was 8th, Washington 13th, and Oregon 29th. NC State won the women’s championship. Whittni Orton of BYU was the individual champion in 19:25.4 over the 6K course. Colorado was the top Pac-12 team in fourth with Stanford sixth. Washington 11th and Oregon 24th.
