News release from CCSO. On May 11, 2017, at about 0041 hours, Coos County Sheriff’s Deputies observed a black 1991 Honda Accord parked on Libby Lane near mile post 1.5 west of Coos Bay. Deputies observed 2 males outside the vehicle that appeared to be having an argument. Deputies contacted the two males who were identified as 35 year old Cody Plymyer of Coos Bay and 35 year old Robert Senn III, also of Coos Bay. Mr. Plymyer told deputies that Robert Senn was having an “episode.” Cody Plymyer stated he was just trying to get away from Mr. Senn. Robert Senn was in the middle of the road and deputies request that he get out of the road multiple times. Mr. Senn refused to comply with deputies commands. Sheriff’s Deputies told Mr. Senn he was under arrest for Disorderly Conduct. As deputies attempted to place Mr. Senn into custody, he pulled away from them and attempted to run away. The Sheriff’s Deputies drew a TASER and told Mr. Senn to stop or he would be tazed. Once Mr. Senn realized this, he stopped, and was taken into custody. After being placed into custody, deputies located a small amount of suspect heroin on Mr. Senn’s person. Robert Senn was also on Parole and his Parole Officer authorized a detainer for Mr. Senn. Robert Senn III, 35 years old of Coos Bay, was arrested for PCS Heroin, Resisting Arrest, Disorderly Conduct II and Parole Violation. Robert Senn was transported to the Coos County Jail without further incident. Mr. Senn was booked and lodged at the Coos County Jail for the above listed charges and held with no bail for the Parole Violation. Mr. Plymer was not detained and released at the scene; the vehicle was towed by Mast Towing.
