The Board of Commissioners of the Oregon International Port of Coos Bay will hold its Regular Commission Meeting, a Supplemental Budget Hearing for the 2017/18 Fiscal Year Budget, and a Budget Hearing for the 2018/19 Fiscal Year Budget, beginning at 6:30 p.m., Monday, June 18, 2018, in the Port Commission Chambers, located at 125 West Central Avenue, Suite 230, Coos Bay, Oregon 97420. The purpose of the hearings are to discuss the FY 2017/18 Supplemental Budget with interested persons and to discuss the FY 2018/19 Budget as approved by the Oregon International Port of Coos Bay’s Budget Committee. Copies of the budget documents may be inspected or obtained at 125 W Central Avenue, Suite 300, Coos Bay, OR 97420 between the hours of 8:00am and 5:00pm. An Executive Session has also been scheduled on Monday, June 18, 2018, immediately after the Commission Meeting, in the Port’s Conference Room, located at 125 West Central Avenue, Suite 230, Coos Bay, Oregon 97420, as authorized under ORS 192.660(2), to: (e) conduct deliberations with persons designated by the governing body to negotiate real property transactions; (g) consider preliminary negotiations involving matters of trade or commerce in which the governing body is in competition with governing bodies in other states or nations; (h) consult with counsel concerning the legal rights and duties of a public body with regard to current litigation or litigation likely to be filed; and (j) carry on negotiations under ORS Chapter 293 with private persons or businesses regarding proposed acquisition, exchange or liquidation of public investments.
