A screening party for “Pre’s People” will be held Thursday, Dec. 3, 7-10 pm, at the Coos History Museum, 1210 N. Front St., Coos Bay. Sponsored by Brad Jenkins, Pre’s People producer (prespeople.com), “Pirate Films has just spent 5 years producing Pre’s People, the greatest grassroots Steve Prefontaine documentary to date. Pirate films has interviewed 40 people that knew Pre the best, people that ran with him, ran against him, and coached him. Pirate Films has taken this project to post production – now we need community support to finish. Come to the Pre’s People screening to see a 45-minute demo and learn more about this project.”
