Siuslaw swept the District prep cross country races at Marist Catholic at Eugene Thursday. The Viking boys won with 16 points, followed by Marist with 62 and Marshfield with 82. Junior Chad Hughes, Siuslaw, won the 5K race in 17:10.60. Marshfield senior Robert Kliewer as tenth in 18:54.80. Junction City senior Anika Thompson won the girls race in 18:29.80. Siuslaw beat Marist Catholic for the team title. Marshfield junior Bailey Wallack was eighth overall in 22:49.90.
