The two fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Coast were busy with seismic activity Wednesday, Dec. 13. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 3.8-magntidue earthquake was recorded west to southwest of Port Orford in Curry County near the outer fault line, and a 2.5-magnitude was recorded Thursday morning, east to northeast of Petrolia, CA, near Cape Mendocino in Northern California.
