A 2.5-magnitude earthquake shook the Cape Mendocino area of Northern California Tuesday, Dec. 23. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake occurred at 5:55 p.m. and was located 39-miles south to southwest of Eureka, CA where two fault lines begin that run parallel with the Oregon Coast. The Lakeview area of South Central Oregon Continues to have seismic activity. A 3.6-magnitude quake was recorded Tuesday, Dec. 23, at 11:58 p.m. It was located 43-miles east to southeast of Lakeview.
