A couple of small earthquakes shook Northern California Tuesday, July 30. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, a 2.8-magnitude quake was recorded west of Petrolia, CA near the junction of the two fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Coast. A second quake, 3.0, was located north of Cape Mendocino, near Oceanview, CA.
