Three underwater earthquakes rocked the Cascadia Subduction Zone off the Oregon Coast to end the month of May and to start the summer month of June. All were located about 280-miles west to northwest of Oregon’s Bay Area. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the first quake occurred at 11:52 p.m. Sunday night, and it was a 5.5-magnitude. The second, a 4.3-magnitude, was recorded at 1:20 a.m. And, the third, the biggest, took place at 3:46 a.m.
