News release from the CBPD. On 11/12/15 an officer from the Coos Bay Police Department responded to Fred Meyer after a man had fled to an office in the store and reported he was robbed. The ensuing investigation revealed that the man had been held at gunpoint and robbed by two men at a nearby residence in Coos Bay. The victim was able to escape after he was escorted by one of the suspects to Fred Meyer under the guise that he would cash a large check and give the money to the suspects. Once in the store, the victim was able to flee into an office where he asked that the police be called. During the course of the investigation the two suspects were identified as 33 year-old Ronnie Beaver and 33 year-old Drew Davis. The whereabouts of Beaver and Davis is currently unknown and they should be considered armed and dangerous.
