CCSO release – On 09/02/21 at approximately 3:02 p.m. a Coos County Sheriff’s Deputy was dispatch to a report of a potential domestic situation in a moving vehicle near Misty Meadows south of Bandon on Hwy 101. Dispatch advised a woman was possibly being, “Held against her will.” During the course of the investigation and exceptional work by members of the Coos County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center, a Coos County Deputy was able to locate the vehicle on Flores Lake Loop in Curry County. As a result of the incident, 45 year old Juan A. Morales of Curry County was arrested on the charges of Kidnap II and Assault IV (Domestic) for crimes which occurred in Coos County. Mr. Morales was transported to the Coos County Jail where he was booked and is being held on the charges.
