South Beach State Park will host a Sand Castle Competition from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday Aug. 22. at the park’s day-use area. Participants can compete individually or as a team, and all ages are welcome. Participants should bring their own supplies. An awards ceremony and prizes will follow.
