The City of Coos Bay authorized Johnson Rock Products, Inc. to perform a sanitary sewer line replacement project on North 8th Street between 7th Terrace and 8th Terrace. The crew will commence with construction beginning Monday, October 17th. The project duration is approximately three weeks. For safety reasons, this work will require closing North 8th Street between 7th Terrace and 8th Terrace. There will be no on street parking along this portion of North 8th Street during the hours of 7:00 am to 6:00 pm. The construction crew will take all precautions and necessary actions to minimize the disturbance to surrounding residents and vehicles. The Contractor will work with the residents to ensure safe entry and exiting during the road closure; however, they will experience delays.
