Visiting Marshfield handed Cottage Grove a 3-1 loss in boy’s SkyEm League soccer Thursday. The Pirates girls; however, fell 9-0 at home to the visiting Lions. Marshfield’s girls (0-1, 0-6) play at Junction City next Tuesday, while the Pirate boys (1-0, 3-3) host the Tigers in Coos Bay.
