A magnitude 2.8 earthquake was recorded near Cape Mendocino in Northern California Saturday, Oct. 15, where two fault lines being that run parallel with the Oregon Coast. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake occurred at 12:40 p.m. and was located just south of Ferndale, CA.
