Southwestern offers “Choices for Life” Course in Coos Bay, Dec. 20

Southwestern Oregon Community College will be offering “Choices for Life (Minor in Possession Course – HS*0571) during winter term 2014. This course encourages young people to learn how the choices they make today will affect their future.  Students will become educated about:  • Self awareness; • The drug and alcohol addiction process; • The impact of their behavior on others; Dates: January 15  -March 5, 2014; Day: Wednesdays; Time: 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm; Instructor: Shelly McCarthy; Cost: $100 (Payable at the time of registration); Students must register prior to the first day of class at the Community Education & Workforce Development office, Dellwood Hall, Room 16 on Southwestern’s Coos Campus, 1988 Newmark Ave., Coos Bay.  For more information call 541-888-7328 or email communityed@socc.edu.
