Southwestern Oregon Community College’s Small Business Development Center (Southwestern SBDC) will be offering the following classes starting in March 2018. Ready, Set, Start Your Business – Great 2 hour start up class to assist the first time business owner learn about the critical “first steps” that everyone faces when considering starting a new business. March classes – Thursday, March 1st 10:00-12:00pm; Wednesday, March 7th 1:00-3:00pm; Wednesday, March 14th 2:00-4:00pm; Tuesday, March 20th 5:30-7:30pm; Wednesday, March 28th 10:00-12:00pm. The cost is $20.00 payable at the class. Register online. What’s Your Plan – A four-session course writing a business plan that gets results! The class meets on the 2nd and 4th Monday starting April 9th. Class starts at 5:30pm and ends at 7:30pm. If you are considering starting a new business you can use this as a feasibility study. If you are looking to expand, or need to apply for business funding, you need a completed business plan. This class is required for businesses completing the Dream Savers program through NeighborWorks Umpqua. The cost is $125.00. Please register online.
