On 12/31/14 at about 10:30 AM Coos County Sheriffs Deputies responded to 90875 Shell Lane, Coos Bay, Oregon for a reported suspicious vehicle. On the arrival of Sheriff Deputies a male subject fled the scene in a vehicle at a high rate of speed and failed to stop for Sheriff Deputies. Deputies pursued the vehicle, a 2004 Nissan sedan for a short distance where it finally stopped at an address on Cape Arago Hwy. After the vehicle came to a stop the male occupant fled the vehicle on foot. After a short foot chase the male subject was apprehended. The male suspect was identified as 25 year old Coos Bay resident, Joshua A. Lincoln. Mr. Lincoln was arrested for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle after vehicle he was in was found to have been stolen out of Coquille. He was also charged with Unauthorized Entry into a Motor Vehicle, Felony and Misdemeanor Elude, Reckless driving, Escape III, and possession of Methamphetamine. He was transported to Coos County Jail and booked on the charges. He is being held on $105,000 dollars bail. The stolen vehicle was owned by 42 year old Cassandra Yarnell who reported the vehicle stolen on 12/30/2014 to Coquille Police.
