News release from CCSO. On November 11, 2016 at 1311 hours a Deputy from the Coos County Sheriff’s Office stopped a 1994 Dodge Pickup in the area of West Beaver Hill Road near Whiskey Run. It was learned that the as stolen and had been reported to the North Bend Police on November 6th in connection with a residential burglary. The vehicle was operated by Roberto Perez, 59 years old, of Coos Bay. The passenger in the vehicle was Luis Rodriguez, 27 years old, of Gurerro Mexico. Both were arrested for Unauthorized Use of a Motor Vehicle, and Unlawful Entry into a Motor Vehicle. Both were transported to the Coos County Jail and booked. Other possible charges may be pending.
