The City of Coos Bay authorized Billeter Marine, LLC to perform a storm sewer line replacement project on North 4th Street between Commercial Avenue and Central Avenue. The crew will commence with construction beginning Monday August 15th. The project duration is approximately four weeks. For safety reasons, the southbound lane on North 4th Street between Commercial Avenue and Central Avenue will be closed throughout the duration of work. Southbound traffic will be detoured around the project site. Drivers should anticipate traffic delays. The construction crew will take all precautions and necessary actions to minimize the disturbance to surrounding businesses and vehicles. Parking along North 4th Street and Commercial Avenue will be restricted during the hours of 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.
