Southwestern Oregon’s basketball teams opened the 2015 NWAC season with a sweep of visiting Mt. Hood Saturday in Coos Bay. The Laker men won 86-72, while the Laker women beat the Saints 71-35. SWOCC’s men (1-0, 4-10) play at Linn-Benton in Albany next, while both the women (1-0, 10-6) and men travel to Clackamas in Oregon City on Jan. 17.
