SWOCC Track Results Lewis and Clark Open 2014
Laker Track Coach Dan Neal reports. It was another Good week for the Laker Track team at the Lewis and Clark Spring Break Open. Jasmine Meline set a school record in the Women’s 800 meter run with a time of 2:20.95. Meline finished 3rd in the event. McKenzie De Vault place 7th in the Discus with an NWAACC qualifying mark of 119’. Kayla Tripp placed 5th in the Long Jump at 16’ 1” and Kylee Bruder placed 4th in Triple Jump at 33’ 5” and team mate Kayla Tripp placed 7th at 32’ 5”. On the men’s side Zach Hammond improved his time in the 3000 meter Steeple Chase running a 9:58 and placed 2nd in the event. Eric Jordan qualified for this year’s NWAACC Championships with a throw of 43’ 7” in Shot Put. Other outstanding performances were achieved by Paul Harlow in Pole vault where he improved his season best to 14’ 6” and placed 2nd in the event. Men Triple jumpers Tim Crawford jumped 41’ 11” for 3rd and Brandon Gannon jumped 40’ 0 for 6th place. The Laker men finished in 8th place with 31 points and the women finished in 10th place with 21 points. Full results can be found at:

The Lakers next meet will be April 12 at the Prefontaine Masters and Open meet at the Southwestern Oregon Community College track facility.
