Track Results for SWOCC at the MT Hood Saints Open
The weather was horrible but SWOCC had some very good marks and several of the Lakers made finals in the 23 team meet at Mt Hood CC Satruday. Racheal Huffman won the women’s Discus with a personal best and NWAC Qualifying mark of 129’ 3”. She also qualified to the NWAC Championships in the Shot put with a throw of 39’ 4” and placed 4th. Paul Harlow placed 2nd in the Pole Vault with a13’ 6” jump. The Lady Lakers relay team of Rachael Broyles – Courtney May – Hannah Smith and Helene Sink ran a 51.61 for 5th place. Other Lakers to make Finals were Katie Pitts in Long jump at 16’ 1” for 6th place and 34’ 5 ¾ “ in the Triple Jump and 4th place. Courtney May placed 9th in Pole Vault at 8’ 6”. Wilson Hodge placed 7th in the Men’s Discus at 122’ 8”. The Lakers will be off for Spring Vacation and the next meet will be April 11 when SWOCC will Host the Prefontaine Masters Meet and visiting Mt. Hood Community College.
