Two teenage boys drowned in the Umpqua River Saturday during a birthday party at Roseburg. Sixteen year old Dustin Conopa and 17-year old Froylan Carrion-Estrada were part of a group that challenged each other to swim across the river and back. They never made it. Search crews patrolled the water until dark and then resumed the search Sunday morning. The two were found about 20-feet below the surface by divers.
