Two earthquakes shook the southern end of two fault lines that run parallel with the Oregon Coast early Tuesday, Feb. 28, near Cape Mendocino in Northern California. According to the U.S. Geological Survey, one quake was 2.6-magnitude and the second a 3.1. Both were located southwest of Ferndale, CA.
