UO release – EUGENE, Ore. – Oregon has signed Jalen Terry, one of the top high school point guards in the nation, to a national letter of intent, head coach Dana Altman announced on Monday, April 20. Terry, from Flint, Mich., is a national top-75 recruit who averaged 20.4 points, 6.5 assists, 5.4 rebounds and 2.6 steals per game to lead Beecher High School (Mount Morris, Mich.) to a 20-2 record in 2019-20. “During the recruiting process, our staff was able to get to know Jalen and his family very well,” said Altman. “He is excited to be a Duck and our fans are going to enjoy watching him play. His quickness and explosiveness will give our team an added dimension.” The two-time Associated Press Division 3 Player of the Year for the state of Michigan was the second-highest rated recruit in Michigan this year.
